Bettina Nava
Profile
Previously, Nava worked as one of eleven Regional Campaign Managers for the McCain 2008 Presidential Team. As the Campaign Manager for the Southwest region, she led all hiring, managing, and implementation of campaign tactics, strategies, and communications for McCain 2008 in the region. During the 2008 Presidential, Nava also had the honor of serving as a Presidential Elector, representing the State of Arizona.
Nava also served as State Director for Arizona Senator John McCain. In addition to directing Senator McCain’s three state offices, she was also employed by Sen. McCain during his 2000 Presidential bid to enhance his coalition building efforts and community outreach activities throughout the Southwest region. Additionally, Nava worked for Arizona Governor Fife Symington as his Director of Community Relations and Boards and Commissions. A graduate of the University of Arizona, Nava has degrees in Journalism and Religion.
Nava has a long history of community involvement and has served on numerous boards, including The Arizona Lodging & Tourism Association and the Board of the Arizona Hispanic Chamber, where she was named the 2012 “Woman of the Year”. She is currently serving on as a member of Greater Phoenix Leadership, a member of the Phoenix Art Museum Board, and a member of The Community Foundation Board. Nava also received the Community Service Award from Valle Del Sol in 2014.
